The latest coronavirus tests undertaken at Deportivo Alavés have produced a positive result within the club, according to the club through a statement.
It is an employee of the club and isn't a player from the first-team or member of the coaching staff, who have been found to be completely negative in the routine PCR controls.
"The affected person is asymptomatic and in perfect health, isolated at home, as indicated by the health protocol established for this type of situation", Alavés detailed.
"The training of the team planned for this Friday is suspended and a complete disinfection of the Ciudad Deportiva José Luis Compañón will be carried out, as is done every week", the statement added.
Throughout the day, both players and coaching staff and employees who work with the first team will undergo new tests to guarantee the health conditions imposed by the CSD and LaLiga, before playing on Sunday against Levante.
