Alarm bells are ringing in Argentina: Emi Martinez injured v Newcastle

Lionel Scaloni wants football in the big leagues to stop now because he can't take any more of the scare that each player gives him every weekend. And this Saturday's Premier League matchday did not fail the Argentine coach once again.

Aston Villa visited Newcastle in Matchday 14 and Emiliano Martinez was substituted after 35 minutes after being hit on the left side of his face by teammate Tyrone Mings. The goalkeeper could no longer bear the pain in his face and called for medical assistance immediately.

Despite having given the go-ahead to continue playing, the Argentina goalkeeper asked to be replaced by Olsen. The English club has not yet given a medical statement, but in principle he came off due to severe dizziness.

According to Gaston Edul, a journalist who follows the 'Albiceleste' closely for 'Tyc Sports', Martinez will undergo routine tests this Sunday to check that he has not suffered any bone injury.
