"Alaba is physically at a higher level than other players"

David Alaba has been, so far, Real Madrid's big signing in this transfer window. The versatile defender and former Bayern Munich key player will arrive in Madrid on Monday to start his first day at the club.

Carlo Ancelotti and the rest of his teammates are already waiting for him there with open arms, but Alaba will arrive with plenty of time on his hands because he has wasted no time during his holidays.

According to 'Bild', the defender has been training with fitness trainer Matthias Blankenburg, so he is ready to start.

"Everything fits him. He has the perfect physical constitution. Compared to other players, he is on a higher level," said Matthias Blankenburg.

The fitness trainer insisted that Alaba "is a lean guy and mentally he is extremely strong", as well as having "extremely strong muscles that combine speed and liveliness".
