Al-Khelaifi's blow to Real Madrid: "We will never sell Mbappe"

Kylian Mbappe being one of Real Madrid's dream players, both as a club and as a fanbase, is nothing new. The appearance of Haaland may have caught the eyes of a few followers, but there continues to be a special connection between the club and the rumours regarding the Frenchman.
Zidane's departure looked to diminish the chances of Mbappe potentially signing, but the appearance of PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi put an official end to the hopes in the Spanish capital.
The club's president took an interview with newspaper 'L'Equipe' and in which he said, in no uncertain terms, that there would be no chance of PSG's number 7 leaving the Parc des Princes. Not now, not ever.
"I'm going to be clear. Kylian Mbappe will stay in Paris, we will never sell him and he will never go for free", he said unequivocally to the aforementioned source.
Al-Khelaifi referred to the contract renewal of the striker and boasted about PSG's situation in terms of the club's attractiveness to the player: "Which clubs, in terms of ambition and a project, can compete with PSG? Where's he going to go? I can say that the negotiations are progressing".
