After becoming a stalwart of Ajax's first-team this season, playing in 36 matches and scoring 11 goals in the process, Kluivert has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Europe.
It's led to a host of interest from elite clubs, including Manchester United, which has made Ajax keen to tie down the 19-year-old to a contract extension.
However, to do so they will have to meet a number of demands made by Kluivert and his agent, Mino Raiola.
The aforementioned Dutch newspaper has claimed that one includes receiving €1,500,000 (£1.32m) gross wages per year, a huge increase on his current earnings.
In addition, Kluivert is reported to have asked for a 20 per cent cut of his future transfer fee, along with a further 20 per cent cut for his agent.
