Sergio Aguero will be unable to start the season for Barcelona. The Argentine was one of the club's most important signings this summer, but he will miss the first few weeks of the start of the competition.
The club themselves informed that Aguero is out for the match against Juventus this Sunday, in the Joan Gamper trophy after he striker suffered a tear in his right calf. While more tests will be needed to be carried out to determine the extent of the injury, 'AS' write that 'Kun' could be out for around three to four weeks.
A setback for the Argentine who, as well as not being able to start the season at full fitness, has seen his compatriot and close friend Leo Messi - for whom he joined Barcelona - eventually leave the club in a shock departure.
Aguero isn't the only player injured for this Sunday's match. Barcelona also revealed that Clement Lenglet has been suffering from some discomfort in his right knee and could be out for two weeks.
