Months of speculation about whether Martial was staying or going has been put to bed by his represenative during an interview with 'RMC'.
Lamboley said: "After thinking about all the possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United.
"When Manchester United, which is the most powerful club in the world, doesn't find an agreement in eight months of negotiations, it shows that it doesn't really want to make him an important player".
Martial's contract with the 'Red Devils' runs out at the end of next season, although there is the option to extend by a year.
However, it seems the France international will be heading out the door which will alert potential rivals, such as Tottenham Hotspur, who have been heavily linked with a move for the 22-year-old.
