The 25 year-old Togolese striker is determined to continue playing football and doing so in Turkish league. After three seasons in which he was inconsistent, the ex-Real Madrid man signed for Kayserispor.
Adebayor arrives as a free agent and signs for one season with his new club, which have now presented him officially. "We want this signing to be positive for both the club and for our players," they said in a statement on their website.
During his adventure in Turkish football, he has made 76 appearances and scored 28 goals as well as given six assists. His best season was his second in which he scored 17 goals and gave three passes in 36 matches. This campaign will be his fourth in Turkey.
Previously, the Togolese was at top clubs like Monaco, Arsenal, Man City and Real Madrid. Including his stats for Togo, he has scored 226 goals in 638 matches in his career.
