Adam Bogdan set to join Wigan Athletic on loan from Liverpool
The Hungarian fell even further down the pecking order at Anfield, after falling behind new signing Loris Karius and already being second choice to Simon Mignolet.
The 28-year-old made just six appearances for the Reds and made a number of errors in his few outings in a Liverpool shirt.
Bristol City also showed interest in the Hungary international but the goalkeeper would prefer to stay in the north-west of England.
