According to 'Bloomberg', Roman Abramovich has already said "no" to an offer of £2.3bn for the 'Blues'.
This is quite a considerable amount for Chelsea, but for the Russian millionaire it is not enough to hand the club over.
Furthermore, 'Bloomberg' report that the owner of the London club would prefer to wait and would only be willing to sell if he were to receive an offer of approximately 3.355 billion euros (or £3bn).
The reason for the uncertainty over Chelsea's future is, in part, due to steps by the British government preventing the flow of money into the UK from Moscow in response to the Salisbury poisonings in March of this year.
The Russian businessman also withdrew his application for a UK visa renewal soon after and obtained Israeli citizenship.
