Erling Haaland was interviewed telematically by Eurosport in Norway during these days of confinement. In it, the Borussia striker praised Solskjaer and spoke about the current coronavirus situation. He also spoke about the best way to attrack his attention when he receives an offer, a guide that should prove useful for Real Madrid and Manchester United.
"Before choosing which club you are going to go to, you have to measure how good you are, how good the club is, the people there, how they take care of you, how they help you evolve...", confessed Haaland.
"There are many factors. I remember that when we talked about Salzburg and different clubs we discovered early on that Salzburg was the best option," continued the Norwegian, who always tries to keep his feet on the ground: "I always thought: 'I can't overestimate myself. That's always been important to me, and I've said to myself: 'Yes, I'm good, but there are a lot of good players. It's always been important for me not to think I'm better than I really am."
Given his age and his prospects, Haaland is obviously thinking about an exciting future, even though he has already enjoyed some life experiences. "I feel very good, and yes, it's been like a dream, but there have also been games in the past that weren't as good, so it hasn't been perfect. But I've had some very good years. Today I'm very happy and I still have some very good people around me, if not better, so I'd say this is just the beginning and there's a lot more to come," he insisted.
Real Madrid and Manchester United have money and good sports projects to offer. How and when, based on this interview, he makes it clear that he can determine who gets the upper hand in negotiations.
