99 minutes to forget for Cesc Fabregas

The critics have started to take their anger out on Cesc Fabregas in France. Now he has had time to adapt, nobody is happy with his performance in Monaco.

A lot of people were asking questions about Cesc Fabregas at the start of the last campaign as he hardly appeared in Sarri's plans. Now, he has just ended up at Monaco to play the rest of the season with their team.

The star arrived at Ligue 1 and he hopes to be at his best. This has not happened in the first six months here, despite the fact that Monaco managed to pull through in the end.

And so far this season, Monaco have started very badly, and Cesc even worse. The former Spanish international was sent off in the opening game when he had hardly even played an hour, in a game where his team lost 3-0 against Olympique Lyon.

He did not return until the 3-4 game against Olympique Marseille, in another shock defeat and was substituted by Adrien Silva in the 69th minute. In total, 99 minutes where he has done practically nothing. Which only raises criticism regarding the former Chelsea and Barca player.

'L'equipe' focuses on his low form and also go on to say that Jardim could use the plan of having 5 defender at the back more often, as he has already used this against Strasbourg.

In this case, Cesc could be one of the first to be sacrificed. Mainly because there are players such as Gelson Martins or Golovin that are offering much more to the team.
