'Sport Mediaset' published information which would open up another possibility of Lautaro Martinez signing for Barcelona. The good news for Barca is that there are now negotiations underway. However, Inter's request are exorbitant.
The Italian media outlet speaks of the demanding conditions which the Milanese outfit have put on the negotiating table: 90 million euros, Arturo Vidal sold to them and Antoine Griezmann loaned out to them for a year.
The Italian media outlet does not mention what Barca's response is to that request although it seems highly likely the La Liga outfit will not accept that request. Even more so when they can buy him for 111 million euros in July.
So that means Vidal plus Griezmann out on loan would only save the Spanish side 21 million euros. Although sending Griezmann out on loan would me they would not have to pay his huge salary for a year, the club are not prepared to do that. They would only do that if it were in exchange for Neymar. In any case, the French striker refuses to leave Barca.
Javier Zanetti, Inter's sporting director, said days back that Lautaro was "very happy" at the club and reiterated that they would not make his sale easy.
It will be far from the last episode in the Lautaro Martinez saga. Barcelona can pay his buyout clause, but they would rather try all other options before doing that.
