Villarreal will visit the Camp Nou on Tuesday, where they have they lost on their last 8 visits, and haven't won in more than a decade.

The last match between the two was last season, with Gerard Piqué getting one and Carlos Aleña with the other.

In that game Barcelona lined up with  Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Rakitic, Arturo Vidal (Aleñà), Dembélé, Messi and Coutinho (Malcom).

Villarreal lined up with Asenjo, Mario, Álvaro, Víctor Ruiz, Pedraza, Cáseres, Trigueros (Bacca), Cazorla (Raba), Fornals, Chukweueze and Gerard Moreno (Toko Ekambi).

This was Villarreal's 8th defeat in a row at the Camp Nou, where they had previously drawn twice, and where they haven't won since a 2-1 win in 2007-08 thanks to a goal from Jon Tomasson in the final 10 minutes.

This was their 3rd victory at the Nou Camp, with two of them coming at the start of La Liga.

The 1st won was achieved in 1998-99. They won 3-1 thanks to a Gica Craioveanu double and one from Gerard, while they won 2-1 in 2000-01 thanks to a double from Víctor.

Overall, they have won 3, drew 4 times and lost 12 on their visits to the Nou Camp in the league. They have scored 21 and conceded 47.
