While the major leagues are looking at dates to return to action in the coming months, it seems like not all footballers agree with the current situation.
In France, a poll made by the players syndicate, UNFP, highlighted the concern footballers had with regards to their health if football returns before time.
Three out of every four consulted, a very large amount, said even returning to action in June was too early. The players were in favour of the season ending now based on the results of the season so far.
That is to say, they would rather the campaign not be voided. They think the results so far should stand and that play should not resume until everyone's health is guaranteed.
