The signing of Robert Lewandowski by Barcelona is only a matter of time. The striker has already made clear his intention to leave Bayern Munich and, in the end, some 50 million euros between fixed and variable payments will get him there.
Of that amount, two million will not go to the Bavarian team, but will be divided among five Polish clubs. The reason: the training rights and the FIFA solidarity mechanism that rewards the teams where the player played in his early stages.
Thus, Lewandowski's arrival at Barça will bring a good deal of money to a number of clubs, including some modest ones that will welcome the move with open arms.
According to the Twitter account 'FootPolak', the distribution of the amounts would be as follows. Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznan, both first division clubs, would receive 250,000 and 500,000 euros respectively. Znicz Pruszkow from the third division would also receive half a million euros, while Delta Warsaw from the seventh tier of Polish football would receive 125,000 euros. Warsaw, a training academy, would take the biggest amount: 625,000 euros.
