In Spain, Ansu Fati is the young talent that is shocking everyone, in London, it is the name of this English/Nigerian player who is more present than ever in sporting media after his debut this season. Saka played his first minutes of the 2019/20 season and gave an authentic display.
With 0-1 on the scoresheet, Saka was in charge of killing off the game near to the end. He did so with a goal in the 85th minute and with an assist in the 88th to Aubameyang. It was his first goal and he said in a mixed zone that "It was a dream come true" and that he "wants more".
Saka is a player that play that can play on the wing, although he mainly plays on the left. He came through Arsenal's academy, where he had been since he was 9 and has been trained by the 'Gunners' legend Fredrik Ljungber.
The Swedish assured that Saka is "a big talent" and he believes that he can only get better, although he must work hard. Of course, with consistency and dedication, Saka is going to be great, as he has as a great reference to the best example of hard work: Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I watch him to note things such as his play and his mentality. He always wants to be better and is special. He is focused all the time and he works a lot. I try to do the same. I also practise shooting with Aubameyang and Lacazette because I want to learn from the best", Saka explains.
As well as hard work, Arsenal's young talent should also be cautious about the numerous compliments he is already receiving. "They paid 80 million for Pépé and this child seems better," said Martin Keown. Michael Owen, a reference in English football, said he has seen "Cristiano stuff" and that "he has talent and confidence."
