1) 2004: On the 16th October at the age of 17 and 114 days, he made his debut against Espanyol. He came on for Deco and played 8 minutes.
2) 2005: On 1st May he scored his first league goal against Albacete. He came on in the 86th minute for Samuel Eto'o and scored with a great chip over Valbuena.
3) 2006: On 23rd February, Leo Messi got his first taste of European football with a wonderful match against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
4) 2007: He scored his first cup goal against Getafe (18 April), a goal that sent shockwaves around the world due to its similarity to Maradona's goal against England in the 1986 World Cup.
5) 2008: He won a bronze medal with Argentina at the Beijing Olympics (23rd August).
6) 2009: He scored a header against Manchester United in the Champions League final in Rome (27th May). Ballon d'Or.
7) 2010: He scored 4 goals against Arsenal (8 April), in a season that he also won the Ballon d'Or and Golden Shoe.
8) 2011: He scored twice in the 4-0 win against Santos in the Club World Championship final (18th December). Neymar was with Santos. Ballon d'Or.
9) 2012: On 7th January 2012, he won his 4th Ballon d'Or, this time ahead of 2 Barcelona players: Xavi and Iniesta.
10) 2013: At the start of the season, Barca won the Spanish Supercup and Messi won his 23rd trophy with Barcelona.
11) 2014: Messi won one of the most bittersweet trophies of his career, he is named best player at the 2014 World Cup, although they lost the final against Germany (13th July), who scored in the 114th minute.
12) 2015: After scoring a hattrick against Sevilla, he became the top scorer in the history of La Liga (253 goals), beating Telmo Zarra's record stretching back to 1955. With Barca, he won La Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions League, European Supercup and the Club World Championship.

14) 2018: With a hatrick against Deportivo La Coruña (29th April), Messi reached 1000 goals, including the goals scored at the Newell's youth teams, Barca youth teams, Argentina youth teams and the Barca 1st team.
15) 2019: 15 years since Messi's 1st team debut for Barca. He wins his 6th Golden Shoe, a milestone that no other player has ever achieved.
