Bellerin managed to pick out the 30-year-old, who calmly caressed the ball past Schmeichel with the ball glancing off his right post and in.
Claude Puell’s side arguably started the second half better and were unlucky not to be ahead again. Ndidi rose well above everyone at a corner and rattled the crossbar with a powerful header after Leno was caught in no man’s land.
Despite this, ‘The Gunners’ rallied well and managed to get their noses in front after 64 minutes. It was so simple from Arsenal as Aubameyang converted Bellerin's squared cross from close range.
The hosts then turned on the style and scored their second in 130 seconds. Aubameyang scored his second after an irresistible sweeping move upfield.
