FT: Tottenham 0 - 2 Chelsea. Chelsea move six points ahead of Spurs after a really impressive performance. It was an unmitigated triumph for Frank Lampard, whose 3-4-2-1 formation worked even better than it had in his imagination. Willian scored both goals, and Chelsea were in control long before Son was sent off for a petulant kick at Rudiger. Alas, the story of the game will be the racist abuse towards Rudiger that occurred soon after.
  • 90'
Sissoko plays a clever throughball into Kane on the edge of the box and the captain takes a touch before aiming his shot towards the bottom corner.
  • 90'
Willian plays a stunning pass into space for Batshuayi, who moves to the edge of the area, comes back omto his left foot and smashes a shot just wide. Willian has been outstanding today. Man of the match for me.
  • 90'
Spurs again appeal for a penalty because of manhandling at a corner, this time by Alonso on Alli. I’m not sure why that wasn’t checked by VAR, as Alonso could have had few legitimate complaints had a penalty been given.

Into eight minutes of added time now as Spurs are on the attack again. Aurier gets forward down the right again and squeezes a cross into Alli at the near post from the byline. He can't turn to get a shot away though as Tomori gets close to him.
  • 88'
Eriksen’s free-kick is headed behind by Batshauyi. Chelsea break devastatingly from the Spurs corner, with Willian flicking a pass over the top to find the marauding Kante. He comes back onto his left foot and is about to shoot when Eriksen makes a vital interception.
  • 86'
Zouma is penalised for a trip on Dele Alli, this far outside the area. VAR are checking for a penalty, but it shouldn't be overturned.
  • 83'
Another announcement comes from the public address asking for an end to this inexcusable behaviour. The game has been completely disrupted by it. Awful.
  • 80'
The game is paused as Abraham hobbles off and Anthony Taylor has brought both captains together now after Rudiger gestures to his captain that he is continuing to be the subject of racist abuse from the Tottenham supporters. Absolutely despicable.
  • 80 '
The final change for Chelsea sees Azpilicueta making way for James.
  • 80 '
Abraham has just gone down and it looks like he might be struggling with an injury, so he's been taken off and Batshuayi is on in his place.
  • 79 '
Rudiger is booked for bringing down Sanchez.
  • 77'
Aurier appeals for a penalty after being held by Kante at a corner. He had a case, though VAR decided it wasn’t a clear and obvious one.
  • 74 '
Spurs make a double change, with Tanguy Ndombele and Danny Rose replacing Jan Vertonghen and Lucas Moura.
  • 73'
Apparently that earlier break in play was caused not by a cup of water being thrown at Kepa, but because of a racist remark towards Anthony Rudiger after Son was sent off. Despicable.
  • 72'
Chelsea are happy to waste some time and keep doing what they've been doing until now... Which is rattling Spurs. Chelsea have been their best selves today, and in a London derby, this will be a painful one for Tottenham.
  • 68 '
Lampard makes his first change of the game now and it's Jorginho that's coming on to replace Kovacic.

Alderweireld touches the ball with his hand after going to ground and he's shown a yellow card.
  • 66'
Some of the Spurs fans behind Kepa's goal have started throwing things onto the pitch, with something hitting the back of the goalkeeper's legs. The referee has briefly stopped the game while the situation is sorted out.
  • 64'
Sissoko is pushing forward to try and get his team back into the game after their latest setback and he makes a good run into the box. He's stopped by Alonso on the edge of the box though and Chelsea come away with the ball.

After a long VAR check, Son is given a red card for that foul to Rudiger... The uphill battle continues for Spurs.
  • 60'
Rudiger fouls Son, who falls over and then pushes his studs upwards into Rudiger’s chest. It’s very soft, but he might be sent off here.

Sissoko is booked for a lunge at Willian.

OFFSIDE! Willian's pass is deflected into the path of Alonso by Aurier and the left-back drills his shot towards goal first time. Gazzaniga gets down well to save it but doesn't hold it and Abraham finds the back of the net on the rebound. He was offside in the build-up though and the flag goes up.

Given the importance of the game and the amount of energetic players they have, Spurs have been almost bizarrely lethargic... Where is that energy Mourinho brought in!

  • 50'
That was almost 3-0 to Chelsea. Mount played a fine through pass to Abraham, who shaped to shoot on the turn but then tried to play a reverse square pass back to Mount. It was crucially intercepted by Alderweireld. Abraham could have taken the shot himself...
  • 47'
It looks like Spurs have switched to a back three, with Lucas Moura and Aurier as wing-backs in a 3-4-1-2 system... But will it have any impact?
  • 45 '
Second half underway! Mourinho brings on Eric Dier for Christian Eriksen.
  • 45'
HT: Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea. Chelsea dominated in the first half and lead Spurs 2-0 at the break. It took them 12 minutes to break the deadlock as Willian played a one-two with Kovacic from a corner before cutting into the box and curling a brilliant effort into the far bottom corner. Spurs had a few good chances. but Chelsea's late penalty after Gazzaniga's poor challenge could sentence them...
  • 45'
Gazzaniga will be kicking himself for that one... All he has to do is catch the ball and the danger is averted. Instead, he’s gifted Chelsea the chance to double their lead, and double it they do...

What just happened??? Gazzaniga runs out, misses the ball completely and clatters into Alonso. But Anthony Taylor gives a foul to Spurs. This will be checked.

Tempers flared between Alli and Kovacic after the Spurs midfielder ended up on his back when he ran into him in an attempt to win the ball back. Kovacic reacted angrily and is shown a yellow card, as is Alli, and the match continues...
  • 43'
It's kicking off! Alli and Kovacic squared up to each other off the ball...
  • 43'
Fans are getting a bit restless now... It's difficult to believe how the previous action wasn't a yellow card.
  • 41'
Sissoko tries to slide in and win a short pass back to Kepa and ends up catching the keeper with a heavy challenge. Both players are receiving treatment now, but are quickly back to their feet and will be able to carry on.
  • 39'
Long spell of pressure from Chelsea but Abraham overhits a cross to end it. Spurs keep trying to find the equaliser....
  • 37'
Kane drills a cross into the box from the right and it's Alli that's making the run through the middle to get on the end of it. Rudiger gets there just before him though and helps see it into Kepa's gloves.
  • 35'
A quiet period in the game. Chelsea aren’t as dominant as they were for the first 25 minutes.
  • 33'
Spurs try to set up another quick counter-attack with Lucas playing a throughball up to Alli. He overhits the pass though and Azpilicueta gets back to win it for Chelsea.

Zouma is booked for stopping Kane from taking a quick free-kick. It’s starting to get a bit aggressive.
  • 29'
Spurs are starting to create opportunities. Kane runs down the right and curls an excellent low cross that finds Son beyond the far post. He has to take the shot first time, from a tight angle, and launches it into orbit with his left foot.
  • 27'
Harry Kane misses a GOLDEN chance to equalise! It comes out of nothing as Sissoko sudenly charged into the area on the right, where he spots Kane and makes a good pass, but the usually clinical finisher messes up his shot and sends it over the bar.
  • 25'
It's good run after good run for Chelsea at the moment. They are controlling the game, with Mount and Abraham playing a key role.
  • 22'
Spurs are rattled now. Sanchez tries his best to win the ball back from Abraham but his attempt fails.
  • 20'
Alonso’s cross finds the backpedalling Abraham, who can’t steer his header on target. He was off balance as he made contact, which made it a much harder chance. The stats speak for themselves... Spurs have no attempts on goal to Chelsea's five in the first 20 min.
  • 18'
Spurs fans are starting to get frustrated, and so are the players. Spurs is having to focus on defending instead of creating chances and it's throwing off their game.
  • 15'
Spurs can't seem to get on the ball as effectively as Chelsea, who are getting the most of this game at the moment. Chelsea win yet another corner but Willian can't pick out his teammates in the box.
  • 13'
Willian struck it to perfection and Chelsea are one up! The Brazilian took a corner and played it one-off from Kovacic, who then passed it back to him as he made a run into the box and curled his shot straight pass the Chelsea defense and Gazzaniga!
  • 12 '
    GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!!! Classic Willian goal!
  • 10'
Willian can't find a pass into the box, so he turns and spots Rudiger in a lot of space outside the box. He passes it to the defender, but he can't get his shot on target as it sails over the bar.
  • 7'
Corner for Chelsea after a half chance from Abraham again. Nothing comes off it, but Chelsea is the better team at the moment.
  • 6'
Tammy Abraham gets an early run through Mount who cuts it inside the box. He does well to hold it under the pressure from Spurs' defense, but his shot is poor and well wide.
  • 3'
Chelsea have had most of the possession since kick-off, setting the pace and trying to move out from the back, but Spurs are looking keen to change this.
