The football legend Johan Cruyff talked in an documentary about himself and about almost everything. One of the subjects were the both footballers who are always compared to each other.
He didn't want to decide who's the better player. "You can't compare Messi and Cristiano. It's not possible. I don't say one is better than the other one. They're both different and each day one of them can win", said Cruyff.
"It depends on a lot of details. On styles and different qualities. They're different in every respect", added the Dutch legend.
He didn't want to compare them to Maradona either: "It's a different time now, the speed, the co-existence and the work-out have changed. Comparing is for the journalists and the people in the bars. If you analyze it well, you find out their different from the beginning", he explained.
"Both are left-handed, but one is faster and makes the things different. The rivals are different. The former English defenders aren't comparable to the ones from nowadays", he concluded.
