The 32-year-old revealed now in an interview with 'Goal' that he may extend his contract and play longer for Bayern Munich. His current contract runs until 2017.
The Dutchman joined Bayern Munich in 2009 from Real Madrid.
Being asked if the Dutchman fancies to stay at his current club he answered: "Yes, why not?"
“No, that is not important for me at the moment. I will try to become fit, I want to train and play. That is the only thing that matters. Everything else will come.
“I have a very good relationship with the club and the board of directors. We have a big appreciation and respect for each other and we know what we have together. That's the only thing that matters. Contract, yes or no, one year, two years, three years … that is not important for me. I just want to play.”
“One shouldn't talk too much about the future.
“I respect every interest from every club and I have just been laughing because that's the football world. It's always the same. That's nice, also for the fans.
“They can discuss who will come or who will leave. But I know what I want and Bayern is the only thing that matters at the moment. We will see what happens in the future.
And when pressed on specific interest from Besiktas, he added: “No, I don't know. Maybe they got in touch with my agent, my dad. I don't know".
