Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side have enjoyed a terrific start to the season and currently lead the Premier League on goal difference from city rivals Manchester United.
However, the Spaniard will have no doubt been left frustrated by the level of involvement of his players during the current international break.
According to analysis from 'BettingExpert', the 'Citizens' have a joint-high 15 players away on international duty and due to the club's large South American contingent, City's playerswill cover more miles than any other team (106,873).
That figure puts them well ahead of second place Liverpool, whose total of 71,023 miles pales in comparison.
Despite City facing the largest cumulative trip, arch-rivals Manchester United will also suffer.
Antonio Valencia will cover the most distance individually, with the defender's trip from Manchester to Chile, to Ecuador and back again racking up an impressive 15,279 miles.
The 'Red Devils' also have the only player of the 80 from top six sides on international duty who is facing a trip to Asia in Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who will represent Armenia.
The top six will see 80 players head off for international duty for 27 different countries. Between them, those players will cover 399,731 miles during the international break, the equivalent of 16 trips around the world.
