Brady has underlined the "incredibly stressful" nature of the summer transfer window, demonstrated by the fact that Hammers' chairman David Sullivan has to work around the clock to ensure West Ham secure the deals they want this summer.
Slaven Bilic's men have already had a busy summer, bringing in five players including the club-record £24 million signing Marko Arnautovic. However, Brady admits the Hammers are still working hard to land more of their targets before the end of the window, one of which being midfielder William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon.
Brady, the vice-chairman of the London Stadium outfit reveals that Sullivan is doing everything he can to ensure that Slaven Bilic has a squad capable of winning silverware this season.
Speaking on Sky Sports' The Debate, Brady said: "A lot of supporters don't understand how stressful that whole period [the transfer window] is.
"My chairman is working 20 hours a day getting very little sleep, taking phone calls, morning, noon and night. He's doing all of that to try and improve things for West Ham. It's an incredibly stressful situation."
Along with Arnautovic, who joined from fellow Premier League side Stoke City, West Ham have managed to bring in Javier Hernandez, Sead Haksabanovic, Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart.
Brady added: "We are ambitious and want to win things.
"We realise we needed extra players in the team. The manager has identified who they are, the money is there and the chairman is working very hard to bring them in.
"All of our ambitions are for West Ham. But we can't put on the football boots, play the games and score the goals.
"We have to rely on other people to do that and that's where the money comes in, the negotiations and the tactics — and the way it all works is very important."
