Before today's games Arsenal sit in fifth place with 13 points, while Watford are just one point behind them in eighth place. The Gunners are yet to win an away game in the league this season, but Marco Silva has not won at home since arriving at Vicarage Road in the summer.
Watford:
The hosts don't have any fresh injury concerns following the international break but Andre Carrillo will be assessed before kick-off, after he returned from international duty with Peru in midweek.
Forward Isaac Success has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury, while Sebastian Prodl (thigh) is a doubt and Younes Kaboul (hamstring) remains sidelined.
Arsenal:
Shkodran Mustafi suffered a thigh strain whilst playing for Germany which will see him out for a number of weeks, while Wenger will make a late decision on Alexis Sanchez, after he returned from Chile late in the week.
Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck are both back in contention after recovering from knocks. Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) and Sead Kolasinac (hip) will be given late fitness tests
