Spurs find themselves playing their Champions League games at the home of football in order to allow more fans attend their Champions League games. However, Mauricio Pochettino's side have lost both of their 'home' Champions League ties this season, but Wanyama is refusing to blame the change in surroundings for their poor form in Europe.
"I don't think it is anything to do with the pitch or with the stadium," the former Southampton man said. "I think everything was good. Today we just didn't show enough quality to win the game.
"Today we were in control of much of the game but we conceded a poor goal. We tried to fight back but it was tough. We didn't create enough.
"Everyone was disappointed at the end of the game and we want to improve for the next game".
Tottenham have four points from four Champions League games this season, all of which have come away from home.
