Manchester United are seriously interested in ending the Welshman's Spanish exile and Vokes is under no illusions that Bale would be quite the capture for the Premier League.
The Welsh international told 'Sky Sports News'; "He'd be huge. He's a fantastic talent. It'd be great to watch and I can only speak from playing on the international stage but he's been huge for Wales there and he's a great talent.
"He stands out. He's world class, you can see that everyday in training.
"He trains hard and put the effort in every day and you can see that watching him."
With rumours persisting that Real Madrid are hoping to sign Monaco's Kylian Mbappe this summer, it is believed that the Champions League holders will have to sell one member of the 'BBC' to make room for the Frenchman, with Bale the favourite to leave.
No doubt the 28-year-old will do his best to convince Zinedine Zidane to look elsewhere, starting with tonight's UEFA Super Cup.
