English publication 'The Daily Mail' reports that Mauricio Pchettino's side have set their sights on Valencia's Portuguese right-back Joao Cancelo as they look to fill the void created by Walker's departure.
Cancelo had previously been linked with a move to Serie A champions Juventus as they look to replace Dani Alves, who joined PSG earlier this summer.
However, the Lononers have now emerged as a genuine rival for the 23-year-old's signature, their interest stoked, ironically, by the injury picked up by Kieran Trippier during Saturday's friendly against Juve.
The Portuguese international made 38 appearances in all competitions for Valenia last season, showing his versatility by playing both at right-back and right wing.
Juventus are believed to be prepared to part with £25m to sign the former Benfica man, though it is understood that said fee does not concern Tottenham, who still have the £50m they received for Walker burning a hole in their pocket.
