According to 'L'Equipe', Emery has already told Draxler that he doesn't fit into his first team plans this season. The German midfielder arrived during last year's January transfer window and he finished the season very well.
This summer, his value increased after being named the best player at the Confederations Cup, a trophy which he lifted as captain of the German side.
Now, after his return to PSG, the arrival of Neymar has meant that there is no longer room for him in the team and he only has 14 days to find a new team.
The German international has been a part of the collateral damage caused by the arrival of the Brazilian forward and is one of the options which the Parisian club is considering in order to raise further funds following the sale of Matuidi for €20m.
Draxler is a heavily left-sided player, the same position as Neymar, and Di Maria can also play there if necessary. Emery favours the Argentinian, and kept him in the line-up the other day despite the arrival of the Brazilian into the starting eleven.
And so Draxler is the one chosen to make way for the arrival of Neymar. The Premier League could be his next port of call, and there will be no shortage of offers to seal a deal for the player in the next few days.
