Chelsea's long-serving defender and captain John Terry has admitted he would dread facing Arsenal's Thierry Henry, so much so that he would have sleepless nights.
Henry is undoubtedly one of the Premier League greats, and during his time at the Gunners he became their all-time leading goalscorer, netting 228 times in 277 appearances.
Terry has claimed he dreaded facing the Frenchman, labelling him as his toughest opponent, but shows nothing but admiration for him and his success.
“For me my toughest opponent would have to be Thierry Henry, he had everything.
“The night before games I’d have sleepless nights, and I’d worry the night before a game.
“But he was a real gentleman off the field, as well. He’d always praise me and said things to encourage my game and help me along.
“But as a player, he had everything, I dreaded playing against him.”
