Real Madrid are scouring the market for a centre-forward and are reportedly willing to break the world-record transfer fee in order to bring Harry Kane to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Tottenham, however, will not be forced to sell any of their players. Chief executive Daniel Levy was as resolute as ever: "I'm 100 per cent confident. Every single player that we want to keep, I can assure you will be playing for Tottenham Hotspur next season," he told 'Sky Sports'.
"Mauricio's strategy has always been that if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad then we will need to look at it, but January is always a very difficult window."
It seems Real Madrid will have to look elsewhere for a striker as Spurs are not planning on letting the club's record Premier League goalscorer go.
