Diego Simeone has reportedly warned Atletico Madrid that if they fail to bring back Diego Costa this summer he will leave the club, with rumours circulating of a return to Inter for the coach.
The controversial Spanish striker was a key player during Atletico's La Liga winning 2013-14 season, before he was snatched by Premier Leeague giants Chelsea.
Whilst Atleti's striking pair of Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres have both had impressive seasons, El Cholo believes Costa's addition would strengthen Ateltico's offensive threat.
Costa's future under incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte remains rather unclear, with some sources claiming the Italian wants him as his main striker, whilst others have heavily linked the club with Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain which would pave the way for his exit.
