Higuain made the controversial move from Napoli to Juventus this summer, leaving many unsure as to how people connected with Napoli would receive their former star.
The Argentinian's former manager Maurizio Sarri was in a light-hearted mood ahead of the game and appears to still appreciate Higuain's achievements at the club, despite being disappointed that he left for Napoli's fierce rivals, Juventus.
"Higuain did well with me and was always hard working in training,' he told 'Sky Italia'.
"How will I greet him on Saturday? In the same way that a father would with a son who made him angry".
However, Higuain's former Napoli team-mate Dries Mertens was in no mood to welcome the striker with open arms and says that he will "slap him around the face".
"There is no such thing as friends on the field," he told 'Mediaset Premium'.
"It's an extremely important game. I'll give him a slap round the face".
