Liverpool have only completed two signings this far, Mohammed Salah from Roma and Dominic Solanke from Chelsea.
Liverpool are eyeing Naby Keita, although RB Lepzig say none of their star players are for sale. However, former Liverpool striker Fowler, who scored 183 goals in 369 appearances for the club, hopes and expects new additions in the near future at Anfield.
"We have got to be patient because nothing too much has happened. I'm speaking as a supporter, obviously you don't want everyone to be coming last minute but I'm sure there will be a little bit of activity coming up pretty soon," he said.
