Jordon Ibe impressed when he first broke into the Liverpool side, with many labelling him as the "next Raheem Sterling".
Unfortunately, Ibe's form dipped and Jurgen Klopp felt that £15 million for the 20-year-old was enough to let him go.
However, former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp believes that Ibe is a highly talented footballer and he sees Bournemouth as a perfect fit for the winger.
"I think it's a great piece of business for Bournemouth," Redknapp told the 'Daily Echo'.
"Although it's a lot of money, when you look at the current climate he is the sort of player who in a couple of years could be worth double that because he's got fantastic pace and can dribble and shoot.
"Bournemouth is a great place to learn and develop and he fits what the club wants. Before you know it, he could be in the England squad.
"I think he has more natural ability than Raheem Sterling. Anything Raheem Sterling struggles with, Jordon Ibe can do. I would hate to play against him with his pace and power".
Meanwhile, Ibe himself appears to be relishing the prospect of playing under his new boss Eddie Howe.
"I like the philosophy the manager has got here and there are a lot of good, young players so it's a good place for me to kick on and do well," he said.
