Sergio Ramos has fired a warning to La Liga leaders Barcelona, suggesting their good form cannot last forever.
The Catalan side won the treble last season and currently have a six-point lead over Real Madrid in the league following a four-goal Clasico win.
Over the last week they have hit the net 14 times, racking up consecutive wins against Madrid, Roma and Real Sociedad.
However, Ramos and Madrid were in a similar position at this point last season - winning 22 games in a row at one point - and the defender has told Luis Enrique’s side to enjoy their good form while they can.
“Football changes in a matter of hours and last season we ended the year really well and Barca were worse than us, but at the end of the season they won the treble,” the 29-year-old said at the La Liga awards on Monday.
