Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has vowed that his side will contiue to fight till the very end of the La Liga season following their 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Thanks to a late goal from Gareth Bale, Real Madrid move to the top of the La Liga table, but have played one game more than Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
Ramos has admitted it is crucial his side put pressure on their rivals till the very end, and hope that both the others drop points.
"The team did everything," he told Movistar Plus.
"We had no luck with our chances but we were pushing well. It was a final, you play for La Liga. We had to put pressure on.
"As long as there are chances, we have to fight to the end. That's Madrid's philosophy. It's the end of an exciting league. We would have liked a different situation but now we have to wait and hope that they slip."
Real Madrid were without key stars Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, but their replacements Jese Rodriguez and Lucas Vazquez earnt the praises of their captain after stepping in.
"This team always responds, there's a big squad," he said. "If Lucas or Jese go out then they always deliver. That's the key."
