Pogba made his £89m move to Manchester United in a drawn-out move which seemed to go on forever.
Raiola has since revealed that there were other clubs interested in the Frenchman, including Real Madrid.
"Zidane wanted him at Real Madrid, but five or six other clubs were after him too," Raiola told 'Telefoot'.
"Manchester United now are stronger thanks to Pogba, but Real Madrid are not".
A lot of speculation flew around during Euro 2016, but Pogba's agent claimed that he did not talk to his client during the tournament.
"I never spoke to Pogba about the transfer market when he was taking part in Euro 2016, then he went on vacation because he was very disappointed by the final," he added.
"So I went to meet him in Miami to get him up to speed. He explained to us what he wanted. Manchester is his home".
The agent also claimed that Mourninho previously tried to sign Pogba while at Stamford Bridge.
"Mourinho already wanted to bring him to Chelsea last summer, but it was not the right time," Raiola said.
