Swansea have completed a transfer coup by sealing the season-long loan signing of Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich.
There was also interest from Monaco, Chelsea and AC Milan but Paul Clement, with his links to his former employers Bayern Munich, came out on top to secure the surprise signing.
When he signed for Bayern in 2016 for £30m, Sanches became the most expensive Portuguese player to leave their domestic league. The transfer fee was due to rise to £74m but the Euro 2016 winner has failed to impress during his time at the Allianz Arena.
