Mbappe is set to finally complete a move to PSG and Monaco have moved quickly to replace their talisman with the arrival of Jovetic.
The 27-year-old burst onto the scene during his spell at Fiorentina before he joined Manchester City in a deal worth £22m in 2013.
He struggled to impress at the Etihad, however, scoring just eight Premier League goals.
The Montenegrin international has since had spells at Inter Milan and Sevilla but now joins up with Leonardo Jardim's men at the Stade Louis II.
Jovetic has signed a deal that will keep him at Monaco until 2021, with the club paying Inter €11m for the striker's services.
