John Terry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Lampard, Paolo Maldini, Didier Drogba, Andrea Pirlo and even Zinedine Zidane all have something in common: they have been managed by Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian, however, has signalled out one of his current footballers for his professionalism.
'He has never complained and he has never had a problem. He is a great example for everyone, the most professional player I have worked with. If I had 20 Phillip Lahms, I would have no problem. Any manager is fortunate to have him', the Bayern boss chose Phillip Lahm as the most professional player he has worked with, in an interview for 'ESPN'.
He also assured that he is eyeing the market for a replacement when the right-back retires: 'Hopefully we can find somebody like him soon'.
