The 18-year-old hobbled off with a knee injury in Monaco's opening Ligue 1 win against Toulouse on Friday. That, however, did not stop him from attending a Nike promotional event in Manchester the following day.
Manchester City winger Leroy Sane was also present at the event and Mbappe did not hesitate to get a photo with the German.

City reportedly hijacked Real Madrid's move to sign Monaco's prized asset at the end of July, matching the Spanish and European champions £160m offer.
Manager Pep Guardiola commented on the situation during City's pre-season tour of America, saying 'the player is still at Monaco, still on that team. Anything can happen. We are still looking at other players in the market. There are a lot of other players, but he is still on that team.'
The former Barcelona manager also remained quiet when asked about matching Real's colossal bid for Mbappe. He said, 'Madrid doesn’t have more than Manchester City have. Players are very important and we always try to get the best players possible.'
'Abu Dhabi came in and invested in the team. Over the past five or six years we climbed to the top and we’re now in the top three or four. In order to get to the level of Madrid or Barcelona we just need time.'
