The former Real Madrid player has had an impressive season for Arsenal, leading the Premier League's assist table with 18, as well as breaking the Premier League record for 'chances created' in a single season, setting up 137 chances.
With Arsenal again disappointing on the trophy front, Ozil has been linked with a move away, to Spain, the Bunsesliga and to Turkey.
Arsenal fans will be biting their nails after the German claimed he would not be rushing into a new deal with Arsenal, as well as not ruling out a move away from the Emirates.
“There’s no hurry,” Ozil told Sport-Informations-Dienst. “I have two years left on my contract.
“We’ll see how it goes at the end of the season.”
“I’m not saying that I definitely must return to the Bundesliga or spend time in Turkey. But I’m not ruling it out either. Maybe I’ll finish my career in England,” he added.
With Arsenal's place in next year's Champions League now in jeopardy, could Ozil be on the way out?
