Dominic Solanke was one of the youth stars of Chelsea, but Liverpool expressed an interest and the striker took advantage of the opportunity that Jurgen Klopp was offering. In the match against Crystal Palace, Solanke opened the scoring with a goal from outside the area.
In a precise move, Solanke had to control a back heel pass, turn to face goal and let off his shot. The English striker did not think twice and scored with a powerful strike down low to the Crystal Palace goalkeeper's right. The bounce of the ball also helped the ball sneak into far corner of the net.
The dream debut for Solanke became a reality as the 19-year-old scored his first goal for Liverpool. The gamble has started to pay off for Klopp.
