Senegalese forward Mane was spotted in training at Melwood for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury on international duty on October 8.
The grade 2 tear suffered against Cape Verde now appears to have healed and the former Southampton man should be back in first team contention in the not too distant future.
Original reports suggested that Mane would be missing until Decembe, but the 25-year-old trained on Thursday morning alongside the players who either didn't feature or barely featured in the victory over Maribor on Wednesday.
Salah meanwhile has been rested for his country's final World Cup qualifier against Ghana this month in order to focus on his club commitments, with Egypt already guaranteed at place in Russia next summer.
The former Chelsea man scored the goal that ensured his side's qualification for the tournament and has been granted rest following his heroics, with Egypt boss Hector Cuper calling up Mahmoud Abdel-Razeq in his place.
