Liverpool, Chelsea to enter bidding war with Roma, Leverkusen for £20m-valued Leon Bailey

Forward Leon Bailey who is currently playing at Genk was expected to leave the Belgian club in the summer but he is to become the subject of a bidding war which also involves Chelsea and Liverpool, The Daily Mail reports.

The two Premier League clubs are forced to throw their hat into the ring earlier than expected after it emerged that Italian powerhouse Roma and German club Bayer Leverkusen are preparing to launch offers in the area of £20 million.

It is believed that Genk would favour an offer than would enable them to keep the 19-year-old until the end of the season, departing for his new team only after the summer.
