The agent of Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski has revealed that the player has held talks with Real Madrid over a potential summer transfer.
The Polish striker who has scored 30 Bundesliga goals this year for the champions has been involved in a lot of speculation over a potential move to Madrid, and he further added fuel to the fire back in April when he claimed he could move to Englanf or Spain in the future.
The 27-year-old's agent Cezary Kucharski has now revealed that contact has been made by Real Madrid, and that Bayern Munich are aware of it.
"Real Madrid contacted us a few weeks ago, we listened to everything they said. It's a big and exciting club. We have informed FC Bayern that we've held talks with Madrid," Kucharski told German news magazine Spiegel.
Lewandoski has also commented on the situatuon saying: "Contracts are not a holy relic in football. You can like this attitude or not but it's the truth. Sometimes you have to think about if it is meaningful to try out a new impulse."
It is believed Los Blancos are willing to offer Lewandowski a six-year-contract worth up to a mouth-watering €25 million a year.
If this deal does go through, does that mean Benzema will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu?
