Whilst enjoying his post-season break, the 22-year-old decided to take the opportunity to have a joke with his 82,000 Twitter followers by posting a picture of himself at the Camp Nou holding a Barcelona shirt with the caption "...buzzing to get started at such a big club like Barcelona."
In reality, the Oldham defender had not completed one of the transfers of the century, but was just enjoying a summer holiday with friends in the city and decided to stop by the stadium for a tour.
