Filipe Luís has been suspended for three games

Filipe Luis was given a red card on Saturday's match against Barcelona for a dangerous tackle against Messi, where he kicked Messi's knee while going for the ball just before half-time. 

Atletico de Madrid have decided to appeal against the suspension because they believe it was too harsh. They added that it was an accident and that Luis is not an aggressive player. 

Atletico are now second in La Liga.
