According to Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would not score '80 goals a season' if they played in Serie A.
Dybala has been important for Allegri this season, scoring 6 times to lead his side to their fifth consecutive scudetto.
Although his tally of 16 goals is impressive, it looks like child's play compared to some of statistics of La Liga, which sees the likes of Messi and Ronaldo consistently scoring over 50 goals in a season.
Dybala has hit out at the defedning in La Liga, claiming it lacks a tactical edge compared to that found in Italy, and allows the La Liga stars to thrive.
"I will say that in Italy there is much better defending and it's a tactical type of football, " he told Tuttosport.
"The little clubs do not play in a wild and careless way as they do in Spain, although Atletico Madrid are changing this mentality. Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would not have scored 80-90 goals in Italy.
"Perhaps they would get 40 like [Gonzalo] Higuain but not 80."
